There are three libraries across different campuses:

Zhongyang Library
Established on October 16, 1994, alongside the founding of Tzu Chi Medical College, the library was initially located on the first floor of the administrative building, occupying a space of 110 pings (363 square meters). The collection primarily focused on medical, nursing, and life sciences.
On September 13, 1996, a new, modern two-story library building, covering 1,188 pings (3,927 square meters), was inaugurated. The facilities and collections were relocated from the temporary location to the new site. To support the establishment of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the anticipated upgrade of the institution to university status in 2001, the library expanded its collection in humanities, social sciences, and life sciences. Plans were also made to enlarge the existing library to accommodate the growing collection and provide a more spacious environment for Tzu Chi staff, students, and the community.
In February 2000, the second-floor reading area and audiovisual room were expanded, followed by the basement reading area in July of the same year, resulting in a total area of approximately 7,490 square meters.
In August 2001, the Tzu Chi Hospital Library’s book and periodical collection was moved to this library to provide easier access for Tzu Chi affiliates.
In September 2002, an automated system integrating the library collections of three campuses and one hospital was implemented, shared with Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology.
By September 2007, a branch library for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences was added, increasing the total library area to 14,317 square meters with 622 reading seats.
In August 2024, following the merger of Tzu Chi University and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, this library became the Zhongyang Library of Tzu Chi University. -
Jieren Library
Established in September 2007 as a branch library for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, covering 6,827 square meters. In August 2024, after the merger of Tzu Chi University and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, this library became the Jieren Campus Library of Tzu Chi University.
The three-story library includes computer areas, faculty research rooms, group discussion rooms, and open-shelf collections for books and materials. The library features abundant natural lighting, and during spring and summer, the second-floor reading area offers a view of flourishing campus greenery and flowers, providing an excellent reading experience. -
Jianguo Library
New Library in February 1998 , was officially opened, all well-equipped museum, a rich collection. The total area of 7,563.96 square meter for the basement floor, ground five, with internal arts district, computers, and information about teaching rooms, teachers, lab, group discussion rooms, auditorium, etc. All books and a variety of data mining open open-frame, full-service museum and provide central air conditioning, good lighting, adequate light, the window that is green, the Central Range, has excellent vision of space.
